Been to a couple of stores the past week and seems that the bargains are getting few and far inbetween, in Scotland at least.0

I'm glad that wantsajob has started up this thread!! I was already getting withdrawals from the other one!!! Hahaha!! I have to be strong and stay away from T's as I have run out of money!! Hahahaha!! Love reading what everyone else has got their hands on though!!!
xxThanks to all the comp posters, you are brilliant! :T0 -
I had given up trying to get any bargains...however...
Just returned from the H#nley branch where I picked up a pair of Nicky Clarke Hairstraighteners (NSS028 & barcode: 5011773035354) for £8.17. Cheapest I can find online are £40. They did have another pair but the box was knackered. Oh & they also had some others they had marked down to £5 but it was a brand I had never heard of.
There were 2 lovely women putting cheap/discontinued stock out showing me all these cheap products but all I was looking for were straighteners.
They also had some male grooming products, might have been a Philips hair clippers for £2.04 & a grooming set for £6 or £7.
Thank you so much op, just been Hanley and got babyliss grooming system for men £6 and babyliss pro210 straighteners £4. Fab bargains !0 -
Grrrrr - just got my hopes up!! Found a few twin dvd players with the man on the front and they were in the 'reduced' isle SEL showing full price. Thought my luck was in!
Checked the barcode - but different to (end code) 9924. Scanned at full price
If you happen to have the twin dvd players and your barcodes different to above - can you please post it for me?
I spoke to the staff member and she said different stores reduce at different times?!? I said, so, I could come in tomorrow and it might scan at a different price? I was told yes, or maybe not!? Grrr. I know what will happen now Ive managed to find a stock, they will all get reduced and snapped up :rotfl:It only takes a moment to say a Thank-You, which goes a long way!0 -
that is what I thought about reducing at different times.
My store had everything at full price and then yesterday it was all gone.
Checked with an insider and they said that some staff have one of our lists and bagged the lot, not even sharing with other staff .
So, my question is....does anyone know of any stores in south Essex where I might get a toaster???0 -
Wow, I have been away. Looks like I have missed out on a lot of bargains.
Anyway, I shall be going Tesco shortly to shopfor my little girl (food). I dont have enough time to read through all the threads as my lift shall be arriving (damn, my luck).
Please can someone quickly advise me on what I need to look for. Are they all electrical items? Will they be marked as reduced?0 -
Reminder - please read>MSE_Andrea wrote: »Hi everyone
Please remember while MSE's about saving money it's about doing it safely. You're all strangers on here and we really don't want to see any of you having problems.
Consider it like a pub. You wouldn't give your name and address to someone you'd just met there so please don't do it here. We'd hate to hear reports of Forum users sending items to others and not getting what they were expecting back. Or worse.
Please remember to stay safe online. This thread is intended to continue discussion, and permit posting of products and prices, of recent cheap electrical items at Tesco stores. Original thread is located at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3459353 and was closed due to the number of posts offering items for trade/sale.
Note that trading is against forum rules, as highlighted in the MSE ANDREA's post above. Far be it from me to tell everyone what to do, but those are the rules and I didn't make them
NO SELLING/SWAPPING/BEGGING FOR ITEMS! (In case you missed it).
