Tesco Electrical bargains - NO SWAPPING/NO SELLING! [New thread]

Nothing in my local stores at all. When I asked if any reduced items would be elsewhere in the store, I got a snappy response back from the staff. Same when I asked about toys to a member of staff filling the toy shelves.

I understand that they are taking the opportunity to bag some bargains but to not even put them out and then snap at customers is wrong. Getting a bit sick of Tesco's overpricing and their staff being rude and unhelpful!

Went to the Litherland (liverpool) store to pick up from direct and had a quick nosey......managed to get the phillips 990 i think shaver for 3.84 and the babyliss straightners for 1.84....could not find scanners so had to ask sales !!!....to price check....he was so surprised and asked me if there was any left and he nabbed the last shaver......there was a few items there but didnt have my list but there was a few items there that could have been reduced but didnt check they did have a couple of sd cards and iphone covers for 30p and 50p but they would not go through the system so would not sell.....there were a few items with tesco bakery reduced stickers dont know why....

I spoke to the staff member and she said different stores reduce at different times?!? I said, so, I could come in tomorrow and it might scan at a different price? I was told yes, or maybe not!? Grrr. I know what will happen now Ive managed to find a stock, they will all get reduced and snapped up :rotfl:

Thanks Jonaylor, Yes, Ive got that barcode. Was hoping someone else may have another where the twin dvds are going through at reduced price?

The ones in my local (in the reduced section) are the same pictures as the ones in the sale but currently still full price on scanning (and reflecting that on the SEL). Its all very random, but the SA explained that different stores reduce at different times and Im thinking this may have to do with batches and barcodes etc . . .

I went to W1lmslow H4ndforth Extra today, they had tv stand for £1 (I bought 1 and left 1 on the self), and some about 6-7 4 GB technika mp4 player for £14.

Was it marked at tht price or did u scan it?

Both of them was marked on that price. The mp4 player was in the corner on the reduced self. And they had some galaxy screen protector for £1.

Are the screen protectors original Samsung? None here in Wigan
