  • I have just been reading about the people who use the scan yourself scanners.

Just over a week ago I went round and got all excited as I found baby born mummy pick me up dolls which scanned at £4, the fisher price animal trains at £3 and the Thomas sets £2. Then when I went to the bit where you put the scanner in, the total shot up from £30 to £115!!! I complained but they said something about it being in the terms and conditions that the prices are not always right.
I asked them to cancel it and check prices at the till but they all went through at the higher prices :(
Customer services were rubbish too and would not sell to me at the self scan price as there were no shelf labels

    I was gutted
  • I'm proud... very proud! I've discovered one! :)

This was in H*ll near bev rd roundabout... A Disney Princess Magic Rise Cake toy play thing.
    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-7050.aspx
    This exact one.... for £2!!!!!!

They didn't have any more, but they do have bendaroos at £1.50 Crayola paint your own wobbly head picture stand for 50p, moon dough ocean one for £2 still! the barbie A Fairy Secret with Pink massive glitter wings for £1.80 again none left in that store and i've checked all these in st. freezing in town and they have none of anything but didn't look for bendaroos.

When i say none left, i do not mean i cleared the shelf! I mean i bought the one i found but could possibly be across all stores, thus why i'm posting the rise cake thing...

They were all on high level shelf on end racks and had no prices... so a very lovely SA said to keep on bringing them across and she'll check them! Was very happy for me as i had my twins with me and my daghter was beaming as she had wanted the barbie since her birthday in May.
