Pleeeeeease can somebody tell me if the hand held scanners (self scan) so the same job as a wall mounted one. Will it show the reduced price etc?

OMG - can't believe it - managed to get another limo set today in a different store and 2 thomas at the farms (1.70) which have not been out at any stores i visited b4 today ! The Limo set again didn't scan but I refused to leave it and went to customer services where the lady again tried to fob me off- I asked her to input the code by hand and she did and got a price ! lol - ( don't let them say they can't sell it as this happened to me twice and they can get a price ) - I will now have 2 happy nephews ! Also the sets where hidden at the back of the lego - behind all the other big boxes both times ! hth

I agree - we got buzz and mickey and my boys already have loads of the figurines so I was hoping for it to do something more - for 50p it cheered him up after the docs tho - but I wouldn't be rushing out

my boys like them, have you tried them outside throwing them up from a height?
They seem to work well then!? :beer:
Although i agree £3 is a bit much, but for 50p, got to be worth a go..

lol...no,i threw themin the living room,hit the light and they just came down like lead balloons (the parachutes,not the lights!)....they're ok for 50p but i wouldnt go out especially just to get those....although i picked up 8 for party bags next year, along with the yoyos, stickers, bubbles on lanyards and roary cars!

Generally it does show the correct price, but on a few occasions, the scanner has shown one price and it has gone through till at a different amount.

When this has happened, I have gone straight to CS for a refund, and just said that it has gone through at different amount to what was shown on scanner.
