My meal plan is not going exactly to plan as I found some chorizo going out of date in the fridge. I knew it was there, just didn't know the best before date. It is fine, but time to get on and use it. Last night instead of the feta and olives the omelette had chorizo, potatoes and tomatoes and it was so good we will have the same again tonight.0

I've started a new rule for myself that each week must include one vegetarian meal, one recipe I haven't made before, one low carb meal and one fish-based meal.
That's a fantastic idea - do you mind if I borrow it, please? :T
I mostly stuck to my meal plan for last week, except for the past couple of days when I abandoned the salad that was on my meal plan - somehow it didn't seem too appealing once the weather had gone from summer to autumn!
This week goes:
Friday - chicken kiev with spicy beans and veg
Saturday - shockingly - a ready meal - I'm out all day and know I won't feel like cooking when I get back
Sunday - veg chilli-stuffed squash (veggie and low carb)
Monday to Thursday -
squash, bacon and feta filo tart (new recipe)
pea and ham soup with cheese and onion bread (another new recipe)
scampi, chips and peas (fish-based - or at least shellfish-based)
leeks and ham in cheese sauce
Have a good week, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
