  • I am officially exhausted!!!:eek::o

However, I am also a very, very happy girl.... greenhouse is now sorted, huge trench dug out and leaves have been raked and then buried in it!! :j:j:j

I ache in places I didn't know existed but I am really happy with what we have achieved today.... no seeds planted yet but that's because I realised that I have very little compost left and really need to get some more - but that is a job for tomorrow (as long as I can still move!!) :D

  • That vertical garden looks fab, I might even try it myself as I wont forget to keep watering them haha. I wanted to grow my own herbs.
My only worry is that the dog will eat them unless I put them up high.

Just checked the MFW2014 spreadsheet and realised that I was only £48 away from hitting 2k this year so went onto online banking and transferred that amount!!:D Totally forgot about yesterdays TT though so am actually running at £2001 paid off my mortgage by the end of Feb :j Not bad considering I'm not working at the moment!!;)

Lazy day today.....feeling the pain of yesterdays work!!:o But I have done several loads of washing and dried them on the line!Go me! :T:rotfl:

It will be lovely to have you!! :D Glad to hear that you have followed your instincts Tahlullah...always for the best in my opinion! ;)

I have done another TT today....grand total of 66p!!:rotfl:Really don't want to fess up to another tiny one on the 2014 board so will just add up them all on here and post at the end of a month on there I think! :o I declared the £1 from the £1.59 yesterday so will keep the £1.25 for March end of month declaration!! ;)

Having a good day so far....sis has had a wine pack delivered to me for when she comes over at the weekend, I have sorted the dishwasher, put on a load of washing, sorted some cd's that needed re-homing, watered the plants, put stuff in the compost bin and moved the demijohns that need racking (forgot to move them before and need to give them 24hrs to settle!!:o)

I am going to do some vacuuming when ds gets out of his pit, write a letter for someone and then wander out with the puppy for the afternoon...its lovely here and I want to make the most of it!! :D

  • I'm going to be away from the boards for most of the first week of March so have started making my March payments....£120 council tax 'free' month, water £56 'free' month and a £5 am*zon payment which has just come through.....so, first March mortgage payment of £181!! :j

So far today I have emptied the td, put on a load of washing, hung it out, walked the dog and cleaned the bathroom.....nothing else to do today other than sort dinner and clean me!! ;)

I am going to have a really lazy day today....catch up time on cr*p tv and drinking lots of green tea..... Slob days rule!!! :D

All this before 9am  and you call this a lazy day!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I was up by 6.15am so not a huge amount done considering the time-frame!! ;)

Another TT today of 61p!!:D Running total for March is now £1.86..I will add to my totals at the end of March (have to keep reminding myself so that I don't mess up the figures!!:o)

I have no idea how, but I managed to convince myself that yesterday was pancake day!! Discovered after a mammoth pancake making session for everyone that this was not the case....hadn't anyone else known?? Oh yes, was the response....but we got pancakes out of it so why would we tell you before!!??!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sneaky little so and so's in my house!!;)

Not got much planned for the day today....having a 'potter' day and enjoying it immensely....hopefully the weather will stay nice and I may have a mooch around the garden...perhaps even sow a few seeds!! Dh is getting the compost on the way home tonight for everything else so it will all be done by the beginning of the weekend!!:D

All is well here, now that I have got the day to day stuff sorted and organised and no particularly important jobs are outstanding, I feel back in control of my life and much happier with where it is heading. I am starting to finally really enjoy my time off....rather than thinking about all the stuff I need to do, I have done it and now it's just cruising along and enjoying the time I have before I get a new job! :D

I am spending a huge amount of time looking for something of interest job wise, but haven't found anything that appeals yet... Although not ideal, I hope that the job(s) I have applied for will produce either an interview offer or a rejection by the end of next week and then at least I will know where I stand with them...I do hate waiting for closing dates to come around!!:o

Anyhoo, all this virtual chatting has made me thirsty ;) off to have some green tea (one of my new favourite things to replace my expensive - and very fattening - latte habit!!) :D

Hi, thought I would pop by and say hello. Glad to hear that life is getting on track and you are enjoying the simple but important things. And good luck with the job hunting, all good things come to he who waits. I hope you never feel the need to rush into something that is inappropriate for you, just because you feel you ought to be working. Follow your heart, you won't go wrong.

And I would treat today as the practice run for next weeks Shrove Tuesday. Banana and chocolate... my favourite. Cannot go wrong!

  • It really does annoy me if they dont tell you either way whether you have been successful for an interview. Good luck x
