    I've been Money Tipped!

Made the first payment of the MFW 2013 & MFiT-T3 challenge today from the ISA money (£150) :j:j:j it feels good to be off the starting blocks :D

I had a crappy day yesterday....felt very miserable and came straight to bed after picking dh up from work but have woken up this morning in a better frame of mind and realise that I will have good and bad days for a while as yet....I just have to go with the flow and have few expectations ;)

I am going to make a potato & cauliflower bake tonight as I didn't cook yesterday due to the extremely early night, so that will all be made from stuff already in the house :A I am going to do some meal planning today, I intended to do it straight after doing the food inventory but haven't got round to it yet....:o

Had the majority of the rest of the kitchen delivered yesterday...still bits missing but I can't worry about that at the moment....it will just annoy me and I don't want to spend another day being angry about it....also had the hob delivered and the plasterers have done a great job in the living room which they are currently finishing as I write :D bless them, they really are great builders and really nice people....never thought that would happen!!!;)

They sub-contracted to my builder when he was doing my kitchen - would never have him back, he was a total nightmare and also ripped me off  but these two are lovely....just wished i had known about them first as this would all have been completed a lot earlier and at about 2k cheaper!! Oh well, you live and learn!!

Have been to the shop to get some fresh stuff and decided to get a sack of onions to make some onion chutney....have no idea where I will put it once I have made it though!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • I have felt pretty crappy over the last few days - think its the total lack of sleep I have had for so long - so have spent the last few days just slobbing - upshot is.... no onion chutney yet :( I will make it at the weekend instead....I really need to as I love it and haven't had any for months.....withdrawal symptoms are hitting me hard!!!:D

DH has been working hard and I have almost two thirds of a kitchen now :j:j:j just one more wall of units to go and then its the whole tiling the floor thing etc  we seem to be doing this completely the wrong way around as a result of everything that has happened over the past couple of months but I don't care....I just want a kitchen!!!!

I have done well on the not drinking front....I have had no alcohol for the past nine days....unfortunately, the no smoking hasn't been so successful :o I am doing better though, I have cut down dramatically with the view to quitting on solstice...I have spoken to dh and he is going to do the same so that will make things a lot easier ;)

I should be able to make another OP this week...not sure how much yet but I am loving making them as soon as I can and seeing the difference it makes....just wish they would stop putting interest on it..don't like seeing the total go up again!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyhoo....off do something constructive...not sure what yet, but should really do something!! ;)

decided that it was about time that I talked to dh about getting back on the wagon now that the dust has settled a bit on the past couple of hideous months ... so had a conversation with him yesterday and showed him figures etc and he is suddenly re-enthused about the MFW journey....in fact, he's even planning on what we should do once we have paid it off!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Had a pretty subdued solstice yesterday...just a couple of glasses of wine and time spent saying goodbye to the year ....gratefully, as it has been a total nightmare....:(

however, i am looking forward to the new year and hoping that it will be a lot brighter....and closer to being mf!!:D

the kitchen units should be finished by the end of the day which means that I will finally be able to bring my food stocks down from the spare room...I am looking forward to it so much, its ridiculous!! :o just have to do the floor tiling next week and buy some pans to work on the induction hob - hopefully by the beginning of 2013 I will finally have a fully functioning new kitchen and a house that is not covered in brickdust or sawdust!!:rotfl:
