This may have already been covered but I have been comping on and off for the last few years using this site between jobs - no major wins but good fun and great when something arrives. I don't do facebook or twitter but it seems to me that more and more comps are there, is it worth starting an account and joining in

If you are in between jobs and have time on your hands to learn how to use them, then I don't see that you have anything to lose. I have a facbook account, but have never really got to grips with it. I do use twitter though and have won several small prizes on there. I do find though that the twitter competitions are often short lived and there is not enough time for them all to be posted here, so I tend to find most of those directly from what I see other people are tweeting.

    Good luck.

I had an email saying the following:
You've just won £50 on the Birthday Lottery

Your friend Dmitry birthday (1985-06-15) came up...
Why not let him know, and tell all your friends to join!
The money will come to you by PayPal tomorrow.

I don't know if this is reliable or not? Does anyone know much about the birthday lottery on facebook? I don't have paypal so not really sure what to think of it all. Would really appreciate some advice

Not sure but DO NOT click on any link they send you to log in to Paypal! This is what fraud companies do to get your log in details!!!!
