Called into local boots to see if there were any lip balms but no luck however as I was picking up a meal deal the sa told me that the tubes of sweets were part of the deal and it worked!

Still working today, SA couldn't believe it and tried to do the transaction a couple of times, called manager and he said it's fine.

i think if you order online yourself to collect in store,the delivery charge applies depending on how much you spend.....however if the store order the products in for you they dont charge you extra...i think this is because the store 'should' have the item in stock but doesnt for whatever reason, so its doing you a favour/doing the right thing etc to order it in for you....when you order it online yourself to collect its classed as a service to you....Boots staff ordering it for you as its out of stock is them just doing their job...hope that makes sense

I went instore today to try this offer out but unfortunately they did not have any lipbalms! I did very well though as I had a 25% off voucher for shower gels and so wanted to try and use it with the number 7 body wash. The tills would not accept the 25% off voucher and so the guy that was serving me went to check with supervisor who said that it was because it was No7, we had a discussion about this saying it did not state this on the voucher and so he really sweetly asked if I wanted him to ask if he could over-ride the till, I did not want him to get into trouble and so said if he was comfortable doing that, it would be really kind, he came back all smiles with his thumb up saying that it was fine.........I managed to buy it for £1.75 instead of £9 as he also put through the £5 off No7 voucher, he did it 3 times for me! Very good customer service from boots!

Brilliant find toffeapple. I managed to get to Boots today and there were 6 lip balms on the shelf.

Had a hunt today in 4-5 different stores.... verdict....lip balms like hens teeth , none to be found anywhere

Are the lipbalms usually in the same place as the Fcuk toiletries or are they with the lipbalms?

The 4 i managed to find were beside the FCUK stuff , look for the SEL £5.10 and the big empty space :-)

I tried the "order to store" from within the store so not to pay, but I was informed that if the itme was OOS online then they cannot order it in for you and quel surprise, it was OOS online boo!!! and my local store is getting a total refit and as such not getting hardly any stock at the mo, not impressed!

And yes found where they were by looking for the £5.10 gap in the display...

YEY! Thankyou OP & HDUK, went into 2 boots today 1st only had 2 lip balms & bought another 4 red !!!!s but OK with this as was going to buy anyway for brothers birthday which is a Favourite! 2nd boots 3 lip balm 3 other £5.00 worth of sandwiches Grand Total £6.23 -- soo pleased Thankyou xxx
