Tell insurance immediately if....

I have read my policy, and it says
The first few points neesd to be changed immediately when those things happen. Why does the insurance company need to know a change in occupation? I am curious about the last point (don't apply to me), but curious about it. After a driver is disqualified/licence revoked, does this mean the insurance will refund the remaining cost and cancel the policy, suspend the policy for a set amount of days/months (depending on length of disqualification), or continue on with the policy but make the renewal price more expensive?
- if you or any driver named on your policy, are involved in an accident or loss, no matter how trivial and even if you do not wish to make a claim
- if you sell your car
- if you change your address
- if you or any driver named on your policy, change occupation
- if you or any driver named on your policy, stop being resident in the UK
- if you or any driver named on your policy, have been disqualified from driving, have had your driving licence revoked or your driving licence status has changed

Disqualification normally ends in policy cancellation. I imagine they will apply whatever cancellation charges and conditions are in the policy terms.
Some insurers also request immediate disclosure of driving convictions while others are happy to accept disclosure at renewal.
If your occupation changes, the risk and the premium can also change.

I would read "immediately" as "within a reasonable length of time". This may in some cases mean the same thing, but there is no obligation on you to call your insurer straight away if you have an accident, for example.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Certain occupations are classed as very high risk (sportsman, journalist, pub landlord?) so presumably if you become one of those they would want to know because your risk has increase considerably. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
