You have to have opted in for e-coupons on your clubcard, AND be using the correct online account that has the clubcard associated with it.
    Affirmative on both counts.
Some e-vouchers were accepted, others were not(from clubcard statement)

Hi - Didn't know how to title this query! I had a code banked on one of my accounts and I am sure it was the xx-hj6j code for 500 points on groceries. I wish they didn't convert them to a different code when they are banked - it now says PBFN8MLRG7VZ.
Anyway, I am about to check out now and use this coupon. It says
"eCoupon - 500 Extra ClubCard Points" but it also takes £5 off the total bill? I have used this on a different account and I don't remember that happening. Not that I mind if it does both things, but I don't want to get £5 instead of the 500 extra points. Has this happened to anyone else??
    Cheers
    Ali

Ok, not sure why it wouldn't have gone through then. It's much more effective to call rather than email, as you will get someone to have a look there and then and can hopefully sort it out. Emails are easier to put off until later...

Some coupons recently were set up incorrectly, giving points and a discount. Sounds like that was one of those. Wait until you get your delivery, and if either is missing then call up and you should get points/refund without a problem.

Sorry its not code related but worth a mention.

Didd you know that Tesco sells live turtles? http://www.tortoisetrust.org/activities/tesco.html I thought some of you might like to see this. I was very shocked at Tescos. Independant paper also acknowledged this in an article. I am thinking about shopping at Asda.

I too used the old code (xx-hj6j ) for 500 points off £50 shopping - which was converted after I'd banked it to the above code - and it came up as £5 off as well as 500 points! Due to deliver Tuesday so I'll let you know if it has worked! Worth trying though!

Did you also know that they are killed in the stores as well? Shocker.

Have you ever thought of what just about every other shop in China sells?

Why shouldn't Tesco cater for the local market???
Why should we impose "our" (sic) western ideals in China??
  • anyone had their 500 pionts and £5 off confirmed yet, my order due Wednesday

Its not just the selling of them , they are sold in like very small babybel bags and the live turtles are stored in extremely poor conditions prior to this. I think Tesco has enough money to be able to house them better prior to sale and selling them these live in small mesh bags is cruel. They are intelligent little creatures and should be treated more humanley. How would we like it?!
