I tried cleaning dishcloths and sponges in the dishwasher, as it's meant to be equivalent of boiling them so they get sterilised. However when I did it they were covered in food sediment.
Thank you, Thank you, I thought I dreamt it. Not sure if it is something I will try but I like the french fries made from Madria cake.HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE?: OLYMPIC CHALLENGE 2008BRONZE 10% SILVER 25% GOLD 50% PLATINUM 75%'Don't Stop me now, I'm cooking on Gas!' - Peggy Ollerenshaw - Hi-De-Hi!0 -
I usually use Asda DW tablets in my little baby tabletop DW which works nicely.
Occassionally I don't put anything in and just let the hot water do it's stuff and it works fine.
Use soda crystals and vinegar to rinse through once a week.

i once saw a programme wher someone made a homemade smoker out of a dishwasher! apparently the ss interior is excellent for lighting the fire in the bottom and the top basket very handy for puling out to put the food in!! i have always meant to try it but have never got round to it, yet another way fo cooking in a dishwasher!!Member 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
