iphone 3GS trade in prices

Hi

My contract ran out on my 3GS earlier this year and have been on a sim only deal since.

Now with the 4s being announced yesterday I just checked envirophone and the trade in price is still £130 for my model of 3gs.

My question is will this drop once the 4s is officially on sale?

Just need to know whether to agree to trade the phone now for the £130.

I'm hoping to pre-order the 4s on the 7th and just wanted people advice of what happened when the 4 was announced and what happened to the 3gs trade in prices then?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there

I'm in a similar situation and want to upgrade, I looked at trading in via Vodafone who actually use Mobile Phone Xchange Ltd and offer £122 in cash or up to £141 in vouchers which is tempting however I have a tiny crack at the bottom of my phone where you plug in the charger which is extremely common and my price would be docked £30 approx because of this. It's worth checking if you have this fault as it'll effect your price.

I'm going to try my luck on eBay I think as you may get more and can list any problems. The prices seem to be higher on there at the moment so perhaps get it listed quickly.

Worth a thought.
