costco are good, but note ( at least my costco) its 2 X 2l ( so about 7 pints in total) for £1.49
Tesco was £1.49, - but 3 for £3
for a few days it was just £1.49 (no offers)
the £1.25
Tesco Pure ( filtered) is £1.58 for 4 pints , but in their free cooking book their is a £1 off ( when spending over £3 on Pure)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
For me Aldi is very hit and miss with their milk. Some days, there are loads with good dates, others when there is nowt, apart from whole or plenty with 2 days shelf life.
I went there last month after returning from holiday to stock up my fridge and saw their skimmed milk had 11 days shelf life!0 -
Farmfoods were doing 2x2 litres for £1.80 last week.
Tesco had up signs saying the milk was on offer for £1.25. This is part of their price drop campaign. It's funny that it now costs 75p more for 3 x 2 litre bottles than it did before the price drop thing started!
Yes, I think we're all going to have to watch this. I suspect they'll put 'price drop' signs on stuff that is somehow differently packaged or whatever, and doesn't really represent a price drop at all - or even just on standard stuff, hoping to fool us.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Well is'nt that false advertising? Starting off at 3 * 4pts for £3 changing to £1.49 each (£4.57) and then price dropping to £1.25 each (£3.75) a price rise of 75p from the starting point of two weeks ago? Scarcely a price drop at all!!!! If we all complained to the ASA what would happen?0

This may change things in regards to 4 pints for £1.
My local shop used to sell 2 litres for £1 and 3 litres for £1.49 but they have increased to £1.10 and £1.79. Tried another shop and that changed price too so milk prices may increase

It's about time this price war on milk stopped and our dairy farmers got a decent price for milk. Many are going out of business because of the stranglehold supermarkets have and milk is now being imported.Awaiting a new sig0
