My DH's X-wife often sends the kids back with a head full of nits.....such a generous woman

Been decorating today - girls 'new' bedroom has the ceiling & walls painted - just the woodwork to do then we can lay the carpet that was delivered today. And then start building the new drawers and toy boxes :D Then start all over again in our room!

    Evening all

Uni was tough today, wasn't in the mood to concentrate. I'm home now, got pjs on, candles lit and glass of wine in hand :). Tomorrow won't be much better, it's my colleagues dad's funeral and we are all going from the office. :(

My new laptop has been sent out and they left it with my neighbours who appear to be out tonight, grrr! Must remember to get it tomorrow.

I haven't seen my flatmate since Sunday. I was out Mon and Tues nights and she was in bed when I got home, and she isn't home yet tonight. I'm hoping she is ok cos she is having a tough time in work at mo, and her parents are going through a rough patch too. She has a tendancy to take things to heart and get stressed.

Just arranging another date for Friday night :D

    Night all

Cranky and the House Elf x - when I started the tread this morning I had not appreciated that it was the second anniversary. Sending lots of hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Oh the little girl who had menengitis bought a tear or two to my eye, as some of you know my son had menengitis when he was 1 and a half and it could have so easily been worse for him. Thank god everyday for his recovery.

Sorry you're feeling so rotten. You very much have my sympathies. My boys have abandoned me in favour of their radiator beds in the living room (I gave in today and put the heating on) so I'm tucked up in bed with a mug of hot chocolate and Radio 4 for company.

    Roll on tomorrow!

Hope you feel better soon uolypool

OH isn't coming home tonight, he's staying round someone's house. Bit annoyed. He's know for days that i can't look after pup tomorrow and now he won't be able to take him to work with him. Also he waits till nearly 10 to tell me. I could have been waiting for him to come home for before making dinner.
