Morning All,
I hope everyone is well - I will pop back later to catch up but just wanted to post my "to do" list!
Back to work in the office today after 2 days out so very busy!
Catch up on work - in particular clear the emails.
Pop to town to:-
- collect prescription
- buy engagement card
- have a look at the coat I have spotted - it looks like it is currently 20% off and comes in my size and petite fit. I have needed a new coat for at least the last 3 years (my current one is at least 9 years old and looks it!).
- have a look in M&S at some skirts for work - I have been given £50 worth of vouchers.
Off to slimming club tonight but not hopeful since I haven't really dieted at all this week! I will go though and then get back on track tomorrow - I want to shift a few pounds before Christmas.
Have a great day everyone.

Hi everyone
Beth - hope you feel a lot better soon.
Cranky and George - hugs for you both.
Redruby - glad things are going OK for your mum.
Hester! - you always make me laugh! Has hubby gone out for a breath of fresh air?!
Laura - glad you're feeling better today.
Well, the central heating oil has just been delivered and, as they have forecast low temperatures for the weekend, it may not be long before we start using it! I wanted to keep it all in the tank for as long as possible, but we shall see how cold it gets. I get a bit obsessive about it; after all it costs such a lot of money.
Bread has been made, and the washing is about to go on the line, although at the moment, there's not much sun about. I think it's trying, though.
Dinner tonight will be paprika pork - something we can eat early. We are visiting friends tonight for a drink, so we need to eat beforehand, or I won't be responsible for my actions!
I really must do some ironing, and not what I did the other day - plug the iron in, plut the board up, leave it for about five hours, then put it all away again.
I hope you all have as good a day as possible.

Thinking of you Cranky and George Hope you day passes peacefully for you both xx
Just back from the hospital appointment, got there hoping to get my three year remission all clear, and found that the clinic had been cancelled at the last minute.Saw a very nice lady though who said I would be well within my rights to complain to the PALS as this is the forth appointment thats been cancelled since June but I said no its o.k. just fit me in when you can .Poor woman, was tearing her hair out she had to cope with 60+ people ranting on at her .Its not her fault, but the Dr who is pregnant with twins decided to take the day off as she wasn't feeling well.So hopefully I will get another appointment soon.No point moaning it won't really help anyone.
Just had a text from DD she's just passed South Mimms on her way to Leicester to my BIL's funeral. Her OH took the day off to go with her so at least she's not thundering up the M1 getting stressed out.
Ironing mountain completed last night and I just have to pop up to Screwfix to pick up my telephone adaptor plug which they ordered for me.I have two phones upstairs running off one jack plug and moving the bedside cabinet the other day I wrecked to plug.Screwfix had one in stock but it was £7.00 and the girl said if you wait until tomorrow I can get the other one on order for you and its only £2.07 That'll do me I said, its only a tiny bit of plastic after all.
have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Hope everyone's enjoying their day. It's getting wild outside in Scotland and I've given in and put the heating on the timer for morning and evening with a manual boost at lunchtime if needed.
My larder is now clean and organised, I've just heard the bread machine beep ... bit of an odd-shaped loaf but if it tastes as good as it smells then I've not done too badly. So, larder done, 10-day emergency food box assembled, labelled and put up out of the way, shopping list written based on what I now know is/not in the larder and grocery delivery arranged for tomorrow morning.
Going to take the rest of the day off to read and knit, I thinkHousehold: Laura + William-cat

Well last night I went on my date......and it went well!We went for a few drinks in a lovely bar, we talked non-stop. The night was only cut short by the train return times, but we did have a kiss at the railway station
. He is 35 and a graphic designer. He has already text to say he wants to see me again
, just gotta find time to squeeze him in in my busy social life before I go on hols :rotfl:.
It's so not my morning today. Went to a town 20 miles away to meet 3 young people who were interested in my course, only 2 turned up, I got absolutely soaked in the rain, and couldn't find anywhere to get a coffee from! I'm back in my office now but off to uni in an hour.
OS wise.....ummmm....ummmmm.....:o

Afternoon all... a bit later for me today,
Well x-ray was all clear, no broken bones :j I did manage to spend 7 hours  at a&e though as the pain was so intense I didnt know what to do. After 3 docs and numerous painkillers they still had no idea what the problem is  So now i've been ordered 2 completly rest and have super strong painkillers which make me feel like I'm floating but annoyingly the pain is still there . It's so strange as there is no break, blood tests are fine, no blood clots and circulation is fine so they are as clueless as I am. I need to wait a week and go back if the pain continues and as it's still getting worse by the day I think a return may be on the cards.
So no OS or anything actually for me todayAs much as it's boring me laying on the sofa I actually cannot walk unaided now so it would be pointless trying as I'll just end up on my bum :rotfl:
Really need to get invites sorted though for DD birthday party, they HAVE to be Hello Kitty so I'll just have a lil look to see if I can order some to the house.
She is being an absolute :A as always and loved the choc brownies I made her yesterday.
My friend from across the road took her to school this morn for me and my sister will collect and feed her for me. I hate not being able to do such basic things for her
Anyway have a great day all and hugs all around xxxMarch grocery challenge 147.28 / 150.00 :j
