My dog loves those filled bones.. you know the ones which are actual bone with meat in one side which you have to lick out! They are only a couple of quid.. depending on size.. we have had ours for absolutely ages and our still loves knawing at it! Keeps him quiet when he is in a playful mood. They are usually available at garden centres, pet shops or larger supermarkets. T
I bought a couple of these for my boys and then noticed they were shattering off into long splinters:eek: (the bones that is!!)Cant give them the hide things either as I had to force a hand down one of their throats once when a chew had become a big gooey ball that got stuckFrightening to think what would have happened if Id not been there.
Its difficult isnt it. Squeakies get chewed out of soft toys.
Strangely, amongst the mountain of toys they have, Diggs' favourite is actually a long father christmas stocking that he actually got his pressies in a couple of years back - he drags it around and then plays tuggy with us with the thing. And Ralphs favourite is a pyramid shape soft "happy toy" which he has had for four whole years! and sits mouthing and padding at every day. Oh and his squeaky tennis balls which I buy in threes and last may be a few months.0
