Only sold one item today. Still, it's something. Can't believe I've gone through the £100 barrier in 12 days. Never thought that would happen.
Mind you everytime I go to post an item I'm taking £10 out of the bank to pay for it and then spending the rest on nothing. Costing me £50 to post, in theory, a week!!! Lol
OH was poorly Tuesday and didn't go to work. Had a bit of what DD had, and he's never off work.
He went back in last night. Poor thing.
Nothing else really happening. Got ebay stuff strewn around the house. Must tidy it all up. Feel really tired and unmotivated at the moment. I need to start going to bed earlier definately. How many times do I say that!
Friday tomorrow again. Can't wait for a lie in on Saturday.

Have you tried the online posting? Its really easy and stops the need for cash. You still need to got to post office to get proof of posting, recorded stamps and if the parcel is too large for the post box but at least you have paid saving the £10 withdrawals.
Can wait for the weekend rest either
Have a great day:j0 -
Hi girls.
Diz what are you like Re: the posting. As for e-bay well done. It seems to have quietened down again but I did manage to sell 4 items yesterday, 2 of them were on Amazon and 2 on e-bay.
Your total is looking fab, it would be really good if you could get another £100 in the next 12 days as well, you up for trying that?
Glad OH is better, it's a worry when anyone is ill.
Hope you have a fab day. Catch you later.0 -
Hello...GR and Wendy. I could do the online posting but a lot of the time I'm not that exact with my weight. Probably end up losing on it.Thanks for the suggestion though Wendy
And you know what I will try for another hundred GR. Sold 3 today, one's paid and waiting for the other two to. They're not great amounts and would need to sell a lot to make another hundred but I won't stop trying.
If it's a bit slow I revise my amounts by a little and that seems to get it going again. I then think if I hadn't reduced it would it have sold at the higher price. The way I look at it is, the things I'm selling I don't want so any amount is good I guess. We always want more though don't we?
Thinking now what else I can put on.:D

Hi there Diz, hope you've had a good day.
Well done on the sales. The savings are mounting up nicely. I've not sold anything today, but I have listed a few items more and have got a few watchers on a few odds and ends.0 -
You ok Dizzy? Hope you are having a good moneymaking low spend weekend.:j0

Hello hunies...:)
Well I've been neglecting my diary, yours are far more exciting, but thought I'd better get back on track with it.
I'm doing rather cr!p with money at the moment. I can't believe how well I did clearing my debts and yet I can't get a grip on my overdraft!
Pleased with my ebay total. Didn't think I'd get to that. Also have a bid on one and an e-cheque pending. Only a small amount but it's there.
Should have enough in the fridge and freezer for at least 4 days, so going to try and stay out of asda! May just pop to the co-op on the way home if I need bread. Might throw something in the slow cooker too, a veggie dish or something, one day this week. Still not used it!
Not going to set myself any money challenges because I seem to fail miserably, so I'll just say I'm going to be careful with my money this month.
I'll update tomorrow

Diz you done so well at the beginning of the year with the debts, you maybe need some time out from debt busting before you start again. Give yourself a little more time until you feel more positive. It's not the end of the world.
Have you got a sealed money tin? Maybe during July & August you can save your £2 coins and keep them solely for the OD. You'd be surprised how quickly they mount up. Maybe set yourself a target to get it cleared y Christmas, start 2009 debt free.
Hope you have a good day, catch you later hun

Thanks GR for the support. I think I'm expecting too much of myself. Looks like I'll have to aim to get rid of the overdraft before this Christmas. I should be able to do that!
DDs 18th birthday venue is booked. It's hard for an 18th, a lot of places won't do it but a good friend of mine's Dad is on the commitee for a local cricket club so we can have that, and at a reduced rate. It's a nice place too. Have booked the DJ and now just have to sort out invitations and the food. Think we'll do the catering ourselves. Trying to be a bit mse here
Will cost a pretty penny I guess but still, you're only 18 once.
Can't even remember what I did for mine. Probably not a lot, though I did have a 21st at a nightclub. Those were the days.
Sold an item on ebay. Probably make me a pound Lol. Ebay seems to be slowing down now for me. Had a few watchers on items but they remained unsold. Have a few watchers on what's left but don't hold out much hope. Might do some more reducing just to get rid.
I'm sat here shattered. Was sports day today. We have to walk to the local running track. At least the weather stayed sunny. And it's our annual trip on thursday to a farm, went last year. I find it upsetting watching the cows get milked but the children seem to love that kind of thing.
Well I'd better get off to bed now otherwise I'll be tired again tomorrow and it's my morning to take a class.
Hope everyone is ok.

End of the year sounds good Dizzy no need to rush things, GRs right you probably need a break after doing so well with the cc's. DD will love her party definatly worth some extra spending.
Hope you had a good night rest ready for today
