Well done on the £20 find Diz, I sometimes do that, it's agreat feeling when you find it again isn't it.

I sold an item on e-bay last week and I still haven't been paid for it, it's really annoying, it's all packed up and ready to post once I get paid.

I'm not doing very well on e-bay at the moment, just making a few pounds but as you say it's better than a poke in the eye.

Hey look at your June total already! Well done.
I've got a few watchers but that doesn't mean anything really does it? Relisted some stuff so I'll see how it goes now. Nothing going on Amazon neither.
Ah well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.:D

Me for you too. My total only looks good because I had a big payout from Quidco this month. Amazon slow for me as well.

I don't know what to do with my birthday money. There's nothing I really need at the moment so I'm quite tempted to put it into my savings account.

Savings account is a good idea but dont forget to treat yourself when you do find something you want. Birthday money is allowed for a want not a need!

Although how many times have you spent some/all of the birthday money on household in the past? My family try to avoid giving me anything I cant use on myself!

Well woke up this morning to what looked like a thousand feathers in the garden! OH text me at work and said he'd found a pigeon by the shed. Had been got at by the neighbours cat, luckily enough myself and DS disturbed it this morning.
He put it in a box with nuts and water and when I came home I drove to the wild bird sanctuary. But no one there till seven so had to drive all the way back. The chap was lovely and the sanctuary was amazing. He showed us around. They were every imaginable bird there, magpies, pigeons, sparrows, geese, guinea fowl, all sorts including different species of owls. But then he said I'll show a surprise. An amazing eagle owl...bigger than our Jack Russell, we were speechless.
Ours was a woodpigeon and he said the wounds were superficial with no broken wings so eventually he'll let it go after lots of rest and healing.
    Gave him a donation.
    I'm ruddy knackered now though!
Sold another item on ebay and won a pound on a scratch card!
Going to have a lovely hot bath soon.
Here's woody the pigeon. Excuse the poop, he did this when we transferred him to the box to take him to the sanctuary.

Aaahhh Diz your a sucker for a sick animal aren't you. Glad the pigeon as OK.

Look at your June money challenge girl, your going well. Good news on the e-bay sale and the £1 win on the scratchcard. There's bound to be another one as they usually come in threes.

    Enjoy your bath.

I am that GR. Big softee all round, that's part of the trouble.
OH tried to ring the RSPCA but no one answered. I've heard lots of negative reports about them and I'm seriously considering cancelling my direct debit to them and changing it to another animal charity. Pets in need at least rang him back and gave some advice.
DS wants to come on here now.
Hey I never thought about it coming in threes GR. Maybe the lottery tomorrow will be my third...do you think? Lol
