Well thank you McFluff, goodness knows what this diary reads back like but as you say, I know there's been some highs and lows and I know GR won't have any of it BUT the highs are down to the great support I get on here from my diary buddies and the lows are not as often as they would be if it weren't for them.
You'll find an absolute wealth of information on this site McFluff. You say you've retired, there is a thread called 'silversavers' on here. Not sure what it all entails but think a few are over 50 and may be a good read now you've retired. It's here

I can't tell you how many times I changed the wording in that, don't want it to sound cheeky, just helpfulThere are some great survey sites you can join just for clicking adverts/links but this can add up to a good deal by the end of the year. Just put in 'paid surveys' in the search option. Also read the 'Pigsback' thread. This tells you all about it. Mind you GR is an absolute whizz at building money up. Have you had a browse on GR's diary. It's inspirational.
Wendy who posts on mine too is also doing brilliantly. They've got more energy than me. Thanks for the lovely post.
Hi Mandymull welcome to MSE. I know exactly what you mean but as I said earlier my diary definately helps me to rein in when I feel I'm going astray. You may find it helps if you start your own diary in the 'Debt Free Wannabee' thread. Just start 'New thread' found at the bottom if you scroll down. (I think). I know you'll enjoy it here. It can very addictive though, in a good way

Hello GR :hello:
Spent £6.25 from my £7 allowance. So have 75p saved over.:D
But then I was a bit naughty. Took DS to the treatment clinic to change his bandage (needs to go again on next Monday too) and he said he was hungry. Now not wanting to spend any more money because that would take me over I spent OHs instead. I know that's defeating the object but if I'd gone over today it would have set me back. iyswim
But good news, I now have just over £25 in Greasypalm so that will be sent once it's been in for 28 days. Or something like that. The bingo site is still pending, this was £10 for joining an online savings account I did a couple of days ago. Not even paid anything in it yet or had confirmation and it's given me the cashback!!!
So a bit of a mixed day really. Not adding Greasypalm to total extras till I get the cheque though.
Will pop over to your diary to post now.

Well done hun. I don't count the extra money until its actually in my account otherwise I end up counting it twice, once when I make the money and once when its paid into my account.0

Well I've got one watcher and that's all. Hate seeing those 0 totals on my stuff. Thought about putting mine at 50p start but if they only go for that it would barely cover ebay and paypal fees.

Well I did manage to sell the chair (but to someone else)! and managed to sell a disney dress after DD, so that's the three items gone.
I know what you mean by selling everything for 50p I feel like that sometimes.
Don't forget to keep the spends low today Diz, I'm watching you !)0 -
Dizzy Lizzie, come on, how much have you spent today?0

Hello GR...well I popped into asda on the way home from work and spent....£6.28p :j So that's 72p under.
Oh well done on the ebay sells. I've got 4 watchers but I want a bid!
Completely cleaned and emptied the fridge, rinsed then recycled all those glass condiment jars lurking in there. I've emptied my 'post/were shall I put this stick it in there drawer'...and I'm determined to get rid of at least half the stuff in there.
How you doing today GR.

Not doing too badly. Felt really sad earlier but since I've had something to eat and a nice bath I feel better.
72p under budget that's really good Diz. I hope you've added that to your total.
With e-bay I expect to list my items and then have lots of bids on them in the first few hours. I've got 3 items ending in the next few minutes and no watchers. Have listed these items a few times and had no luck so think I'll cut my losses with them. Got a few other things with watchers and all these are ending over the weekend so hopefully make some money there.0 -
Glad you're feeling better. Just posted on your diary. Some people are just plain ignorant, no excuses.
I think there's a free gallery at some stage on ebay. Maybe you could relist some stuff, if it doesn't go, when it'll be cheaper. I might do that to.
Better tackle my drawers now...lol
Catch you later hun

Hi guys
How did you do yesterday Dizzy? Ive just checked my bank and cc. The first is ok but the second in very scary. Given up on ebay. Sold two items for small amounts but no feedback. Amazon has dried up as well. Need to check my prices actually.
Hello to the newbies reasing this thread. Its great isnt it? Dizzy doesnt give herself enough credit for being debt free.
Just off to GR s thread:j0
