Anybody Still Waiting for Play Tent

Dear customer

Thank you for your patience regarding the situation with the Lake District Cheese Co promotional play tents. We really appreciate it.Unfortunately we have some disappointing news. Despite having re-ordered new play tents with added safety features, and despite these also passing the necessary European safety standards, it has been brought to our attention that a small number of the new tents have had the same problem as the last ones – namely that sharp edges can become exposed in the frame.

Therefore we have taken the decision not to send you a new play tent.

As a replacement for the prize you had won, we will be sending you a £20 voucher for Toys R Us next week. Under the circumstances, we will not be replacing the play tent.

We would once again like to apologise to you and your child for the inconvenience and disappointment, but the safety of your child remains our prime concern. We would like to thank you for your understanding of this regrettable situation..

Got the toys r us email also never had a tent sent out but got the cuddly toys etc.

Never got any free toys or cheese but have had email about not sending tent but sending a toysrus voucher instead

had a post today already and no voucher yet...hopefully it will come tomorrow as we need to buy bday present for a friend 2yrs doughter and with 20% this weekend it would be the best shop to go...

not recieved an email or anything else in the post like everyone who recieved the cuddly toys and cheeses, but my original winning email was at teh end of August so might just give it a bit longer
