WOW what a responce, normally the extra/offcuts etc are a perk should we say that shouldnt happen but has happened and will continue to happen for years to come

so yes now it has come to light it is classed as the above have stated
this i am not arguing, what i am asking is how i doff my cap apologies and leave gracefully.
the managers know it happens but as no one has ever been caught out can deny it goes on

all i wanted clarification on is how do i best ask them or go around to resigning
i have spoke to a few people and they reckon, wait to see exactly what they think , listen and see if they will give me an agreed letter
    as mentioned earlier

i know it will not be as glowing as my years service deserve, but at least it will be better than none

Your years of thieving from the employer and knowingly flouting health and saftey rules, you mean?

If you want to resign before a official investigation is started then just do it. I'm not sure if from the above posts it has now been formally found out or not.

You can jump whenever you want but make sure you have a good (and safe) reason to say to the jobcentre - who will probably make you wait 26 weeks for money anyway.

Jarndyce it was never my intention to do either, and who said i personally have been doing it for years

i said it has been going on for years

my engineering skills have never been questioned

this was never a post for love it was a post for guidance on how best to exit

anyway i have had the union on and got sound advice from them, just awaiting an email
