What would you really like for Christmas under your OS tree ??

Rather than something under the tree I would like to wake up and find our tree in a tidy house
Probably means I want to go away for Christmas.

Better eyesight - I'm quite short sighted and I've always wanted to wake up and be able to see - without having any nasty operations.
A large cheque that would pay off the mortgage. That would give DH a few more choices.
What I will be asking for is a new charm for my bracelet. DH, DS and DD took me out on my birthday to buy one and I just love the idea that they had picked it out specially and that it means something to all of us.0 -
I'd like a pressure cooker and/or some new bedding as my 'real' presents, and a new purse from DD, that she can go out and choose for me herself
My dream presents - for OH to be miraculously cured of MS, for my mum to be miraculously cured of diabetes, for DD to grow up to be the best doctor in the world as is her dream, and for me - well, I'd like to have a leg that doesn't need surgery and pretty please, to be a decent weight!0 -
Real presents- A knitting bag, some storage boxes for the growing wool stash, some knitting books/simple patterns, Kitchen Aid mixer attachments, cake decorations/edible glitters and a silicon mat for sugar work.
Fantasy presents- a decluttered house that has tardis like properties, i.e bigger on the inside than on the outside, a lottery win to pay off our debts and help out some friends who are really struggling at the moment, and the chance to see my Dad again. He died 26 years ago in December and it is long ago and so much has been forgotten and missed in those years.0 -
I would like to wake up and find my bedroom decorated, its been on the to do list since we moved in 6 years ago
But the reality pressie i would really like is a good jam pan.
my bedroom has not been re - decorated in 25 years, i have just started stripping the paper off and i am going to have a go at painting it myself
i cannot afford a decorator so i am having a try, i decided it can't look any worse (can it?)0 -
I'm getting this from some family members and I love it that it's old style and what I really want
.
My sister has made me some lovely socks. 50% silk 50% wool. AND, they're pink!
My Aunty and Uncle will get me some more bits of Denby crockery this year to go towards my dinner service. I decided a couple of years ago that I wanted Denby as it would see us out our days and it's robust enough to survive the kids now. It's also multi purpose. Last year I got 4 plates. I don't know what I'll get this year but may ask for universal vouchers from the rest of the family so that I can go to Clarks village and splurge on getting a fair amount when they have it on bogof /50% off.
I would also be delighted if I came downstairs on Christmas morning and found a dresser there. I've given up on ever getting one because DH is really fussy and won't let me spend a fortune on one. He also wants it to match the furniture elsewhere. I just want a dresser which fits in the space (narrow and tall). some of you have such important things. I immediately thought of lots of things I would like such as new bedroom furniture and lots of others bits and pieces. In all honest though the things I don't really need, I would just like them
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
A present of any kind
Failing that my very own house elf or some energy or a promise of a day out to the sea with a picnic :j

A permanent house cleaner - its not that I'm dirty, but I barely throw anything out, and does my depression no good at all.
In reality tho, just that my son enjoys the day and its not all too much of an expectation/disappointment to him. He's 4 and last year he understood the be good and you will get presents from Santa concept. This year, i feel the is going to hear the pressure to get a lot or certain presents through older kids at nursery/after school care.
Oh I also with my boyfriend wasn't going to Cuba. But he is.Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb
