you need to change your language settings.

add a uk keyboard, set it as default then remove the us ones and your key presses will then be correct.
You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.
  • OK, I have googled a UK version, the only one I can find is in Hong Kong, do you think that it is OK to buy from there? I keyboard is fairly straight forward isnt it? I always prefer to buy from the UK if possible as its quicker and I assume I get more consumer protection? This stuff is all made in China anyway............ but I did see a site which advised people not to buy direct form China because you can never be sure of the quality. The site I was looking at was called
http://www.laptop-part.co.uk/hp-compaq-presario-cq60-series-laptop-keyboard.html sites called laptop-part.co.uk or something. What do you think?

Hong kong is usually fine via ebay for small low value electronic stiff. typically stiff like this will be £20 on ebay or £60+ direct from the manufacturer in the UK.

yes there is increased risk RE consumer protection and don;t even think about trying to return anything. but over time even if you have to scrap the odd £20 you may have wasted you save money on low value PC components overall
