I've had a pm off the rep, but wasn't planning on replying anyway as I'm rathe wary of stuff like that! Going to whack the Kids tea on and give them a bell whilst I'm vaguely calm! Although I can see me being nt quite so calm after the call! SP have set me up so I'm paying around £70, there's no way I'm going to pay £20 more than that!!
wise move not answering the PM

think positive, if SP are supplying you it's hard to see how Spark can be your supplier at the same time, so it might all be resolved quite quickly

was that from Spark? sometimes meters have to be changed every so often as a matter of routine, the timing is a bit coincidental though
  • Yea it was from spark! I just tried ringing and got what appears to be a standard response "hi you're thru to spark ****** speaking can I take your account number or postcode?" "hi yes it..." "hello, sorry terminating this call due to lack of response!" tried calling again and after 5 mins on hold I'd had enough! They'll be getting an email later! Would I be rightin assuming also that if SP are my current suppliers, then I'm not liable to pay spark anything?

I think I had the same issue with trying to phone them, that's why I ended up emailing, which was actually better as I had a record of everything that was said

my logical head says that if SP are your current suppliers, then you can't be with another supplier at the same time, but you need to have that clarified

I was/am with Hydro & they did their best to sort it out from their end & I wasn't switched to Spark after all & didn't have to pay them anything

there will probably be someone along with some better suggestions, but in the meantime, email Spark & give SP another call, I'm sure it won't be the first time they've heard of this situation
