What wood is this please?

Been offered the below for free. Can you confirm what wood it is/suitable for open fire etc? Was cut down about 2 years ago.

Definately softwood, the stuff thats standing up looks like sitka spruce burns ok when dry but can spark a bit.

Can you post a close-up picture of the bark, please? And of a cut end so we can see the rings clearly? With a finger - or something - for scale!

I'd be very nervous chainsawing any of that. Do you know if it's been used for anything previously? Looks a bit like chopped in half telegraph poles possibly.

The one on the floor looks a little ropey and possibly telegraph pole, but the rest appear to have bark on them etc?
