To be honest I think he was hoping to just be able to go into the JC and tell them he had some fictitious interview and that they would hand him over some cash for clothes, think we both know that it wouldn't have been spent on that had he been succesfull!!

AFAIK, MSE don't ban people inexplicably.

I think they would have given you a reason, also they usually give warnings.

Extract from MSE Forum rules FAQ:

To keep the forum running smoothly we have a card system, to give people legitimate expectations.
Sometimes we'll give users a quiet word of warning for breaking the rules if they're getting close to a Yellow Card.
The yellow card should always indicate what it was received for though, either with a quote or a link to the post/thread in question if it hasn't already been removed.
