Moving from Mobile to Fixed Line Broadband

I got Mobile (with 3) because I I didnt have or need a phone line. The signal is woefully unreliable so going to change to "normal" broadband.
I need to ge the phone line in my rented accommodation reactivated. Do I have to do this through BT or if I am going with Sky Broadband (I already have Sky TV Packages) do they do all of this? Quite confused about all of the different options between phone line and broadband providers....

No, Sky can reconnect your line normally, you don't have to use BT.
Only go for Sky broadband if Sky are LLU on your exchange, otherwise you will be stuck wit the dire Sky Connect (non-LLU) service.
Suggest you do an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com for your available LLU suppliers.
