I used to work for First Info, working on there Great Western Customer Services, and based in the same building National Rail Enquires. It was rumored that Richard Branson himself actually rung up and enquired about some services (to make sure it was impartial etc), and then a few days later it was in the newspaper, which makes it a bit more true i guess. If thats true then i guess he does take a great deal of interest in his business's, however as somebody else pointed out, i dont think he's in the set up of their internet stuff anymore.

Talking about Richard Branson has just remineded me of a complaint we once got, we had a 3 page letter from noel edmonds a few years back, but a senior manager dealt with it. we all got to read it though. trust me the man is a c**k, lol.

IIRC Virging.net isn't part of Virgin any more anyway...

....I'm right...it's been wholly owned by NTL since 29th September 2004.

No point in writing to the bearded one then!! :D

A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.
  • My sister wrote to Virgin re an issue with some gift vouchers for the Virgin Megastore ( sorry to be useless but can't remember the full tale) RB actually wrote back to her ( original autograph on letter) and sent her some vouchers. We she complained about being stranded in Birmingham cos her train was cancelled she not only got sent home in a taxi c/o Virgin but also vouchers again!
