Thank you for posting the information on 'debt'. I don't feel so bad now. At least I'm above average for something else other than my weight. LOL.

Fab post on debt figures. And you are right we are doing something about it. Of course not being able to get credit is helping and my debt is only reducing . I am just glad i had lmb 3 years ago and not in 3 years time xx0

Payday tomorrow. Must sit down & do a budget for December. Without wishing my life a way, I really can't wait for the festive season to be over so 2012 can start with a real push at debt busting.Pay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000

I'm sure you're going to start 2012 fighting that debt, so make sure you enjoy Christmas tooDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

Hi Beccie, Thanks. Yes gonna enjoy xmas but not gonna spend like there's no tomorrow. Virtually all the xmas pressies are bought & managed to get some good genuine discounts - many @ 20% off.
Have also been able to hit the target CC for £86 today... Great feeling seeing the balance reducePay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000 -
I actually think that I have enjoyed Christmas more the last couple of years because of stopping spending too much. It defnitely requires more thought, but it's so worth it knowing that it's paid for out of my own money.
Well done on the payment to the CCDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Thanks Beccie.
Budget for December done. Tight again but all the major xmas pressies bought & only a few small bits & pieces still to get plus xmas food. Hopefully the food may be covered by some vouchers due.
Joined the "pay off as much as you can in 2012" challenge. Decided to include mortgage in this for a bit of motivation - seeing over £1k reduction per month shall be a real good motivator. Mortgage is not in my overall debt figure as I don't consider mortgage as a real debt cos approx. £150k equity in house.
Main targets for December:
1. Try to enjoy the festive season
2. Keep within tight budget
3. Make over £100 in extra £sPay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000 -
Looks like that's the xmas shopping just about done... normally don't even thinking about it 'til the week before xmas. Can now focus fully on debt-busting again :cool:Pay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000

That's the xmas shopping defo done now including xmas dinner (in the freezer). Very tight budget this month again but I'm actually enjoying sticking to a frugal budget
Have made extra £s thus far in Dec.: £57.39 :T but very busy with work this coming week so won't have much time to earn extra £s or post on here but I'll still be in "debt-busting" mode .
Happy debt-busting this week everyonePay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000 -
Not too bad a week in terms of debt-busting. The horrid weather meant that we did nothing & I actually spent £0 from sun. 'til today plus got some vouchers from mr postman which shall help pay for most of this week's shopping.
Target CC is on the radar for early 2012 & debt shall be below £36k by year endPay off £14,000 in 2012 Challenge #21 (incl. mort.) £15,960/£14,0000
