Having a second line installed - help!

I am fed up with being passed to call centres where people simply cannot understand what i am trying to ask. So, if anyone has done similar, can you help?
At present we have a Sky line into our home providing phone/tv/brroadband. We also have a virgin line, providing 50mb broadband only. Everything is fine, however we are moving, and need to keep the two broadband connection open, however, this is where we are running into issues.
Firstly, we are moving to a new build house with a BT line fitted, but inactive. Sky tv will be installed the day after we move [9th October], however, they wont be able to activate the line, and therefore broadband, until October 20th.
Secondly, the new are doesnt have cabelled services, so i am having to switch to Virgin National Broadband. They are coming to do an installation, with a new line, on Oct 18th.
Now, i need to make sure the person installing understands fully that the then inactive line is already reserved by Sky for that broadband and phone connection.
Will They install a complete new line, and not try to piggy back off the sky line?
To install this new line, will the need to dig up anywhere to achieve this?

They will use one of the spare pairs in the drop cable for the new line, the are usually 2 pairs of which only 1 pair is required per line. And it'll be BT Openreach, not VM who will do the job, they do all the work on behalf of the other companies (Sky/VM ect)0

Also, depending on the internal cable the spark has used, the should be 2 or 3 pairs in that as well.but make sure your spark connects up the extensions as BT wont fit them past the master socket without charging a hefty fee. It's hard to say to be sure tho,as I don't know your house layout.0
