Check your Orange bill!
In December; Orange started charging £1.50 per month for itemised billing. They made it opt-in by default, and customers were given instructions for opting out prior to December. There's no way I want to pay £1.50 for itemised billing; so I opted out by text message!
Today I have just received my bill for Janurary, and realised that; despite having thought i'd "opted out" (I even received a confirmation back at the time I did it) I have been charged for itemised billing! I then went back to look at Decembers bill and the same charge exists.
I've just come of the phone to customer services and they have refunded the charges and turned off itemised billing - but if they've had a system fault this may well have affected other customers - so check your bill if you want to save £18 a year!!

I spotted this on my January bill and cancelled it yesterday - so i'll def keep en eye out for it on my next bill! Thanks.
I also realised I was being charged almost £6 a month for some mobile internet thing that I didnt request and have never used in the whole 10 months of my contract! This was never mentioned when I reduced my package to the lowest possible & is additional to the figure I was told I would be paying for the contract each month. So that's £60 down the drain
I cant wait for Sept when I can cancel it and get PAYG.0 -
same here, although I spotted it in decembers bill and called them straight away to cancel and get a refund (no problems getting it by the way). In addition you can get full itemised online on the orange website.ummm...0
