24.4% on a soft quote for a loan is almost certainly an immediate decline.

EDIT: Do a quote from their main page as an existing customer but no Internet banking details. Should soft-quote you then. It's probably because its been less than 6 months from last full application.
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Thanks I'll try that - thought about it and I probably don't want them to see a soft search for a loan and use it against me when deciding whether to let me keep my overdraft etc - so I'll wait a month or 2 then try it that way!

Just done a quote without being logged into online banking. 22.9%. Far too high for me to go for, but would that be a possible approval? Or at least that my internal rating has gone up slightly!?

    New Loan - £4,000.00
    Loan Amount £4,000.00
    Term 84 months
    Loan Interest Amount £3,623.84
    Total Amount Payable £7,623.84
    APR 22.9%
    Monthly Repayments £90.76

22.9% for 7 years you've lost the plot.

"Far too high for me to go for"!!! But it was 24.4% they were offering me the other week!

Even more strangely, when I log in to online banking it's banging on about mortgages!
