Is babelfish.altavista.com Translation working ??

Is translation service on Altavista Babelfish working ??
I am trying to translate some German to English, but am getting an error message.

But it does not seem to be working at all, as it doesn't translate simple words from English to German.

i was doing french to english yesterday and it was fine, translating whole sites with no problems

Not sure what problem is with Altavista, Google worked fine.

Thanks for that, all those translators should come in handy.

Although Babelfish still doesn't work, Google does.
Maybe Babelfish has closed down.
