Ok you've convinced me to take my google toolbar off my PC, but what do you recommend to use to block pop-ups. That is possibly the only use I have for it, dont use anything else.

But don't latest versions of firefox and internet explorer have inbuilt pop-up blockers? I hate using toolbars and never install them and I've not been bothered by pop-ups in a very long time.

Had the Google toolbar that long didn't bother switching it on in XP, so forgot about it, whoops! Thanks SS.

I think there's quite a few things with the newer versions of browsers that make a lot of the toolbars' functions redundant, eg the search boxes.
