have you tried putting a baby monitor in the car and one in your bedroom. im not sure how sensative to noise they are but ive heard of people using them . all youd have to do is put a bit of tape over the led so that they cant see the light.

Can confirm the roadhawk will drain lareg car battery totally flat in a few days - i.e intrerior light not even glowing.

Low light level stuff is poor (really needs the head lights on) had my aerial snapped off on a streetlit road and all you can make out from the roadhawk is a figure wearing a ?checked shirt? couldn't make out facial features at all

In this country what is legally accepted is a cricket bat!

Element of surprise..... These scrotes are only being brave because they think nobody is going to stop them.

Had some idiots leaving the local pub at like 1am, tooting the horns of their cars and making nice little tunes. I stayed up one evening, followed one home and did the exact same "tune" outside their own house at 4am....... Oddly enough the horn honking stopped

We had a spate of theft from cars a few years ago. When the police finally got interested, they did the odd driveby, when the thefts continued, they hid plainclothes plods in bushes to catch the culprit.

Make sure you choose one with rounded ends, because when there's four of them and one of you you won't be wanting any sharp edges when they take it off you.
The following tap dance every night on your car won't do it much good either.

Best way is to set up a camcorder in the house, on a tripod, plug it into the mains, and either output the av to a dvd recorder, or put in a 4 hour tape or memory card.
Turn off the red flashing led though.
