How to burn films onto dvd

Hi, a newbie to computers here and need some advice as I have a film on my computer which I need to transfer onto dvd disc, haven't got a clue how to do it so some help would be most welcome. I have Windows XP and Nero 6 installed on my computer. Any pointers on what software I need. Many thanks :beer:

try nero vision express (or what ever its called in version 7)

works everytime for me and you can add chapters and menus.
