How to burn films onto dvd

Hi, a newbie to computers here and need some advice as I have a film on my computer which I need to transfer onto dvd disc, haven't got a clue how to do it so some help would be most welcome.

I have Windows XP and Nero 6 installed on my computer. Any pointers on what software I need.

Or ,what i find is easier is to use Dvd x copy platinum.If you look on google,you can find it for £10.It been banned in the states cause its too easy to copy a dvd.you just put your dvd in the disc drive and one click it copies it straight to a blank disc .Film doesnt get installed on your computer at all.

You should be able to open the movie file with DVDShrink as mentioned above and then burn using your Nero software.

Sorry cookie monster,didnt read your thread properly. Dvd shrink will let you put 1 dvd movie on 1 dvd disc.
