I've never sold on ebay before anyone got any tips etc... how do you calculate the postage etc...??
I've never used Turbolister...is it free?
We've been doing a lot of ebay, over the last year.
I personally like to have the packaging ready for the items before selling (so you dont lose out by underestimating postage), and then I use ordinary kitchen scales for weighing. The royal mail website has prices for all the weights for all the different postage options. I usually give a 1st class and 2nd class option. Or if the parcel weighs a lot, then a 1st class and a standard parcels option.
I'm always on the look out for packaging...I keep all boxes, old jiffy bags, etc from work and home to save for ebay.
We've got to the point though where we've had to buy some jiffy bags as we have a lot of stuff online at the moment. I include the cost of these jiffy bags in the postage costs. I bought them online - think it was £13.50 for 100 jiffy bags. And I've just bought 20m worth of bubble wrap for £5 ish, again I will add 20p or so to each item to cover the packaging costs.0 -

Thanks for the comments, I've got loads of old jiffy bags lying around, so it looks like I can use them.0 -
Well, nothing, until just now when I've been called by Orange offering me free broadband. Need to check with my housemate (who's more techie than me) if it's any good, but we currently pay £20 a month so should be a good saving for us.Amazon sellers club - member number 63.

Called Egg to cancel my credit card account with them. This is the 2nd card I have cancelled thus reducing my available credit by £19000 - this will help if I need to apply for another 0% or low LOB card.
Posted a book I sold on Amazon
Renewed my library books online (what a great system)
Updated my signature with my spending total for yesterday. Feeling very pleased with myself as I will be reclaiming £17 out of £17.20 spent yesterday and because my expenses get paid into my bank I use them for extra debt repayments. Purse is now staying shut for the rest of the week I hope.
Didn't have time to read or post yesterday but have to mention this - I went to a business meeting yesterday where lunch was supplied. There was loads of fruit left so I asked if anyone minded if I took it rather than it being wasted. Result - we have enough fresh fruit for the rest of the week.
This would never have crossed my mind before my LBM 0 -
Thank you Flower

That reminds me of my wee grandad who died recently - he used to call me flower
He always cheered me up, and he'll be very very very proud of me for sorting out my debts at long last. his motto was "Trust in the Lord - everybody else cash." He wasn't far wrong was he?
I have no more money to give - all you companies out there - do your worst - I give in!!
