  • You need to be very careful about the postage, it is easy to undercharge due to the size andd weight rules, so always check these for what you are selling. The higher the price the item the less sensitive to postage but if it is a low price item and say costs about 50p to post and you have charged say £2 some buyers get very unhappy with you even though they knew the postage when they bid, I now find that in general it is better to charge the real cost of postage and packaging, less hassle.

    Finally Debt Free...
  • This is a technical NSD for me as I buy a paper every morning.

I know I could save money by reading it online, but I sit and stare at a monitor all day - I don't want to do it in my breaks.

Have decided to work out a plan for spending x amount per day through each month, and sticking the balance in a jar, just in case I manage to afford a night out one weekend with it :D (so far - January's jar has about £8 in it :D )

Also last night (I know that's not today but still...) I did my first matched bet with the help of tct jeremy :D Thinking now of setting up a current account with a debit card, solely for matched betting and trying to clear my CC debts at least, by the end of the year (around 3 grand in total)
I have no more money to give - all you companies out there - do your worst - I give in!! :(

    - made my own lunch for work
    - have my second NSD in a row :j
    - will spend my lunchbreak reading Time Out in the library for free

Have a good day everyone
Dealing with my debt and my weight :D

Debt now £30,100 (9.5% paid off)

    £2 coins saved and banked = £210
  • Oh and I have rejigged all my CC balances on to two, one a 0% for a year, and one a low, life of balance. Tonight I'll be working out what I'm going to use my £1500 insurance policy to pay off, to make life even easier (and bring my balance down to the figure above roughly 3 grand) :D

I have been saying this all week but am determined to get it done today:

Do meal plans for the next 10 days (been signed off work so no opportunity to eat at work for free as I usually do!)

Someone chase me later will ya?!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
