Use a proxy. www.hidemyass.com
Using these proxies is extremely dangerous as you have to enter your passwords through their site. You never know what they are doing with the data passing through their site.
Yoy can try disconnecting your router for a few hours then plugging it back in.0 -
Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...0

If you were banned you were banned for a reason (wither the reason is sane, justified or made up on the spot is another matter)
The Forum/Site admin will have an email address. Send an email stating your user name on the forum and ask why you were banned and if the ban can be lifted.Laters

With Plusnet everytime I go into the router and 'disconnect' and then 'reconnect' I get a very different IP address assigned so often rebooting/reconnecting the router changes the IP.
Some forums do ban based on the IP which I always thought odd as some other poor sod will eventually get that IP address and may be prevented from using a certain forum just because some previous user did. A bit like buying a house where the previous occupants had debts and the new owner gets problems

The address provider has to pay for each address, 24 hours a day.
To get the most out of that fixed cost, they will give 'your' address to someone else when you are not using it.
Practically, most of us use our computers most of the time, so a change may not happen very often.
I think the OP should turn off his router as often as he can, in the hope the provider picks up his unused address and gives it to someone else.
Once he's rid of the address, he's unlikely ever to see it again.
Alternatively, contact the provider and ask them to change the address.
They should do that because it doesn't matter to them which of their addresses he is using.0 -
Don't forget to clear your cookies from that site, and obviously sign up with a new email address.
Usually bans by IP address are temporary anyway, which makes sense given the reasons spannerzone mentions. I can remember years ago a few occasions when I inherited someone else's IP ban from sites/services I'd never been to before. Amusing, but not a problem when changing the IP address can be easy.
Sometimes you have to turn off the router a fair while before you are assigned a new IP address - but some ISPs will assign a new IP address immediately upon reconnection.0 -
type your ip adress into internet browser log into router settings find where it says restart connection and you will have a new ip, i do this all the time with Sky the little button doesnt work it just resets the router completly to stock settings.0
