My 6.5yo DS started wetting his pants but no obvious reason why...?

I would take an urine sample along to docs - if thats ruled out, then is he drinking enough? dehydration can cause these accidents for some reason.
but, it may just be a passing phase. as others have said - if he does have an accident just get him to rinse out his pants and put them to be washed. apart from that I wouldnt make a big fuss. just keep an eye on him - see if his sleep is disturbed, or he avoids things he normally likes. such as tv shows - even the most innocous can sometimes upset kids!

what is he doing when he's wetting himself?
a younger sibling of mine used to wet themselves at that age and it was because they were so engrossed in what they were doing that they ignored the signs they needed the toilet.
my mum used to ask them every few hour if they needed the toilet and eventually they grew out of it.

My sister and I both suffered from this - and in both our cases, it was low-grade and persistent UTIs.
