The stock levels of these seem a lot better this time around, or maybe people got fed up last time and didn't bother. Whatever it is, I have managed to get my boys one each each day so they are delighted.

Has anyone got themselves a golden brick yet? None here so far.

No golden brick here, but im hoping those ebayers have them all and will give them away, lol. That would be justice.

Imagine being a seller and getting an mail saying thanks the lego you sent me contained a golden brick and I won £10k.

I can't help thinking that the hope is lots of people will save the packs for Christmas presents, and so the golden brick will be found long after the date is past to collect the prize. Sneaky, I say!

Most of the parts in the packets are small and the golden brick is large in comparison so wouldn't you be able to feel if you had the golden brick?

I collected mine today and it was so flat looking that I had to feel the packet to check whether there was any lego in there at all. Definately no brick though

LOL @ elegant elephant - i done the same with the packet today - had to feel to make sure there was lego in it as its very flat today! hehe! Alien Conquest is my son's favourite as well xx

I never thought of that actually! I saved them all last year and filled my ds1's stocking with them but this year he is older and wiser and spotted the ad's on the paper so no chance of hiding them now lol

My local WH smiths were just giving the toys away with the paper with no need for the coupon. I went today and tried for another few but they were OOS on the star wars ship. Got another harry potter, truck and alien conquest though so now dd can have a set as well

Also noticed a lot of people don't want the toys either as the SA was asking them when buying.

I might ask tomorrow if they have any other toys from the previous days but I didn't buy the paper on those days. I'd happily buy tomorrows paper more than once though if they let me do it that way.

The complete angel SA took my 30p & gave me one of each of the last 4-days legos today. That's one Star Wars, which has kept ds(17!) happy this evening, two for my little nephew's Xmas stash & one Harry Potter potions which I'd got on Monday for my nephew ... so that one was for me!

Have managed to get two of the toys in the birkenhead branch no problem, thay have stock left from previous days and the lovely SA asks each person if they want one, saw that it said merseyside so if your on the wirral may be worth trying there, they had yesterdays trucks left today lots of them x
