MP3 player - help me choose...

I have a Sony 1gb flash memory player about the size of a man’s ring finger. I record in ATRAC format which I think sounds better than mp3. It will also play mp3.
Check out the Sony range. You can now get a 2gb version for about £80 and a 4gb model for rather more.
And buy decent headphones whatever you get. The supplied phones are usually rubbish.0 -
Thanks for the recommendation, I was hoping to get one from John Lewis as I havew £30 in gift vouchers (which can be used online) and also was going to use an onlide code to get £10 off.
So if I go for either of the two I posted links to it would cost me either £15 plus postage or £9 plus postage. This is the MSE website after all

Given the same choice, I'd pick the Zen Nano Plus. Unlike the Shuffle, it doesn't require any 'special' software to be installed.0

I reccommend the Samsung YP-Z5 4mb .so easy to use and add tracks (wma or MP3) and the battery lasts a mininuim of 18 hours ( charge via USB). plus your not a slave to ITunes
sounds fantastic as well and super sleek and sexy. and also has Picture viewing capabiltys
mine cost £90 and i will take the pepsi challenge with a IPOD nano anyday

Have gone for the Zen Nano plus, even better news is that because I faffed about before ordering deciding which one to get, the Zen has gone down to £44.95 - bargainous!0
