Oh wow, check that front page, so many awards. Well done, guys.
Yup, they're fab, I had a look last night - I want one with Eeyore in it!!!!!:)
LMH Wow, I can't believe all the C talk already - you're even making me look forward to it!:D
I've actually started my shopping with being stuck at home:) ..... usually I'm running round the week before C day with all the hoards.Rising from the Ashes - big hugs to you, pop round for a brew too, you sound like you could do with one
Ahhhh, fab, feeling much better after the hug & brew, thanks Kerri!:D
Well, a spendy day for me .... been looking at cat carriers for at least 3 days and have finally picked one (non pet owners will think I'm a total loon:rotfl:).
I hate buying things like this as you're stuck with whatever you've bought for years (old one is 17 yo) and if you get it wrong ....... some were great but too small, others too expensive, others too fiddly - and when you've got a squirming, hissing, biting one who grows at least an extra 30 legs ;)when you're trying to get it into the carrier, the easier the better!
However, it had to be done as after 17 years loyal service the old one has a broken hinge and I was worried above mentioned beloved one would manage to escape in transit:eek:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

My 'new' to me fridge is now in place so really pleased about that :j
Anyone any idea how cold a fridge should be?
Woohooo....great news beanie:j:j:j:j
I think the recommended temperature is somewhere between 2 and 5 deg C - it depends on your fridge thermostat though, as far as I know. Maybe try 3 deg first and see how you get on, if things are too cold and/or starting to freeze increase the temp a bit. The oldstylers would be able to tell you for definite, I'm sure:)The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Good morning all!
Well, I nabbed another one yesterday despite going shopping!
How? I hear you cry!
Well, OH went out to buy a present for my nieces 21st, BUT I had the money saved via shopping vouchers which I put away money towards every month from my salary. So, although it was @ £50 for a charm for her posh bracelet there were no spends!;) I got some change back which paid for the coffees.
We also got a couple of bags of daffodil and tulip bulbs for our front garden in the big orange shop, but as OH was also buying stuff for work, he coughed up for them!;)
So I can report I am now up to 12!
Today I need to get some veg for making soup, but that doesnt count under my fresh f&v exclusion rule. so going for another today!
Good news about the fridge Beanie - is this you?
Have a great day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
