  • :( All going very badly here :( No more nsds since last time I was on, and today will be yet another spend day. Still a few days until DH gets paid, he has 30p in his account, I have £1.14 in mine, the holiday fund has totally gone and the next instalment is due in less than 2 weeks, the credit card is almost at its limit and the overdraft has been racked back up. WTH is going on I don't know. :( I don't like it though.

Well, def no NSD today - have finally given in and bought the tubs I've been harping on about for well over a week:o. I've cut out the "wanting" ones but there were 2 that I'm desperately needing.

They worked out at £15.23 from Lakeland and have managed to get them for £12.49 from Amazon so a wee bit of a saving (every penny and all that).

Also bought another power surge protector thing to hopefully protect the TV/Sky box from any power cuts in the winter (£7.49 incl p&p) so quite pleased with that.

  • No NSD for me :) 'C' present buying and getting DD more socks, tights and pants......I am absolutely convinced we have an underwear eating invisible gnome in our house, it's the only logical explanation for the lack of underwear DD has!!!
Ordered a 'C' tree too as we only have a little space in the kitchen/family area for one and the other one we have is too big.

  • Managed a NSD yesterday and today so thats numbers 10 and 11 for me!

I must say im so proud of myself i havent been into a clothes shop all month and havent bough any clothes shoes accessories or make up all month, thats the first time since i was about 17 (so 10 years) that i have been this strong! if i manage another week until payday this will be the first time ive not put my overdraft up to make up for a shopping spree in years.

thank you guys this thread is obviously doing wonders! x

  • NSD#9 on Monday and NSD#10 on Tuesday. Today though will be a spendy spendy day as I am going shopping, and off to London tomorrow for a nice long weekend of spending and having fun.:D Will update when I get back.

  • Phew time to update, well I should be working but whatever!

Got meself NSD 7 yesterday but not sure I'm gonna make my target this month!

I had so much to sort for the weekend just gone, and I spent every day whilst I was in London - didn't go over my budget tho ;)

Have blown every other bit of my budget tho up to the point where I'm starting to wonder if it's all worth it cos I'm trying my best but it's so flippin difficult trying to live without spending money! Credit cards start to look very appealing, but I'd rather not get into the cycle!

    Hope everyone is well.
