Have "caught" myself looking at far too many websites and going "ohhhh, that's nice"but they're want things not need (although there are a few bits I need to get within the next couple of months ... sigh).
Will try to hang on until next week and have a proper search for the best deal - I really need a new carrier for the cats (mine's broken) but I really hate spending money on that sort of thing.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi all NSD 10 today. Had a spendy yesterday as i think the children will run out of cereal this weekend and could't resist a few more bargains. Need to have a proper audit of our freezer so i can do a shopping list for monday. Getting on slowly but surely with the ironing clearing a bit every day rather than going all out.#Sealed pot #085.

Happy to declare NSD No. 6 today, it would have been 7 if DH hadn't needed a 95p box of panel pins yesterday. Ah well! What do you do with them! DH's that is! Lol!

Ahhhh booger - i'm deff struggling this month. Went over to the Mr T Homeplus place near(ish) to me, personally found it a load of rubbish but stopped in the mr m next door to get milk (allowed) and yoghurt (had free voucher) and porridge for winter brekkies - on 1/2 price offer BUT stuffed up my NSD
Nearly 1/2 way through the month and deff not 1/2 way to target.
On the up side, finally sorted out the stash in the spare room, lots of tins and jars in banana boxes under the bed now and a box all sorted for the local food bank - lots of soup, shreddies, pasta and sacla sauce...oh and some :spam:Thought my stash of shreddies was a little low then found three more boxes

Spoon - Glad to hear your week is improving
I'm good thank you. Funny you should ask because my S.Dad got his date yesterday, it's 2nd Nov. We were all getting a bit twitchy because nothing had come through. He's been doing ok too, no major ups or downs so he just needs to stay that way until the 2nd.
Dad is ok, he seems more settled in the care home now. He was being quite aggresive (never infront of my brother or I) and caused a bit of damage so thankfully that has stopped. I'm not certain that he knew who we were last week though which is so sad. It's so unfair, he's only 60 and was such an intelligent man and now he can't even have a conversation. Unfortunately it's only going to get worse, but thank you for asking though. I find it hard to bring him up in conversation with friends because I can never say anything positive.
