mysk-girl - I think you can be forgiven for the Mc D's lunch, esp as you did so well resisting the lure of spending elsewhere.
Life got in the way for me today too. Popped into Wilkos to get a few essential bits for jobs round the house (glue and sandpaper). As well as some of the £3.50 QS from Mr T (for Xmas, promise :A). Not done the sums but not tooooo bad...oh and I did pay to get my car washed at workwhoops!
Still, I do have a yummy crumble in the oven atm, apple and blackberry with cinnamon and a bit of ginger in the apple. Nom nom. Also made pasta bake tonight - two portions for the freezer and promsied OH some homemade chilli tomorrow :lovethougFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good luck with the interveiw Kathy:)
ok i can offically claim sunday as NSD 1:cool:
Today was a spendy day but not by much and should save me in the long run.
Did the weekly shop but with all the extra bargians i got more like a fortnightly shop plus thanks to some time bargin hunting, a handful of vouchers and careful planning i came in under budget:D
Have all my money sorted out for the next two weeks. All money for bills and weekly life costs organised and labeled right down to my £2 chippy money. It feels good to be so organised and prepared, takes the worry out of the week/fortnight.
Did spend some extra in Co$t!o ( which is why I can't class today as a NSD;)) but again had vouchers and found some great last minute deals so now have enough washing powder and cat food to last for over a month.
A very productive day all in all.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Good morning everyone
I have only managed 2/14NSDs so far this month. It would have been more but I will need to buy a lightbulb on the way to work. Thw weather has turned down here and as soon as we put the bathroom light on half a dozen wasps decided to join us. After much chasing and jumping about my OH managed to remove them (but not before he managed to knock the light fitting, which blew the bulb and knocked our electric off:eek::eek:) Good start to the day:( As is always the way we have every other lightbulb but the one we needed )
:grouphug:to our friends in the north cos it sounds a bit chillyand windy up there . We have got dull, drisly grey down here. To think positively though I work in a shop and it has been really quiet and boring the last couple of days cos I think everyone has been making the most of the sunny weather. They may come shopping today and keep me a bit busier (and in a job:))
Better go
Have a good day moneysavers
