Was hoping today would be another NSD but my boyfriend bought food at work, oh well, definitely making a packed lunch for him tomorrow :p

Good luck to everyone else! :)
  • Hello again!!! I'm going to set myself a slightly lower challenge this month as I only managed 7/10 NSDs last month :( and I have a baby due in the next couple of weeks so I'm assuming I won't have time to think about much else after he arrives!!!

So, can you please sign me up for 8 NSDs for October? :) I got 1/8 on Saturday so I've made a start!

    Good luck everyone!

  • Hi Spoony,

Can you put me down for 16 NSDs in October please!

Very busy month for me so not sure how I will get on!

1st was a spend as I was out in evening plus had a P£acocks 40% voucher - spent £61.50 (saved £41) on some much needed jeans and work trousers (and other bits and bobs).

    2nd was NSD 1

Today is Direct Debit day :( back in my overdraft. May buy milk later whilst it's already a spend.

Hello NSD gang, lovely day today. Bit of a spendy one, but I have managed to get all the week's requirements sorted and come in at £14 under my budget, so the said £14 has been transferred to savings so I don't get my grubby paws on it. Resident (junior) gannet away till the weekend so should spend/use less this week. Now off to read a training manual for a course I am doing tomorrow...yawn!!!! Bank account looks sadly depleted after all the end and start month DDs/SOs have gone out, but I have learnt to ignore the balance figure, what really counts is the budget figure I have allocated.

Should really do some washing while the sun is out but cannot be arrised. Had a busy weekend, what with visiting DD on Saturday and getting up at the crack of sparrers Sunday to get DS off on his school trip, so I am easing myself into the week gradually. I hear rumblings from the dungeons of Chateau Nargle - what are you doing, Igor? Oh, cooking stuff for the freezer, good chap! MMmmm, beef casserole, spag bol, and what's this interesting grey lump in that big pan there?

Oh, Igor you numpty! I told you that you can use the washing machine anytime for your socks and underpants, as long as you fumigate the kitchen afterwards.....Sorry, folks, must dash....Environmental Health inspectors expected any moment.....Byeeeee!

Life sabotaged me today (DS deciding he wanted lunch NOW when we were out, I thought I had another 40 minutes or so to get him home to cheese sandwiches - he's only 18 months and lack of food is his only tantrum trigger, so I gave in). Am rather ashamed that I gave into McDonald's as it was closest and quickest. So £6.50 down - but I didn't compound it all, that was my only spend. Yet again, pre NSD lightbulb I would have gone on and probably spent £20 in Tesco next door, today I went straight home. And avoided coffee and cakes after swimming. So even if not NSD was good overall behaviour. Am bad mummy for McDonald's though, although it's probably only the 3rd time this year, so not TOO bad...

Good luck to all for the month ahead - I'm going to need it...
  • Hi everyone

Please put me down for 7 NSDs this month. I had a large spending weekend at Manchester Eurobash Friday and Saturday night in Manchester. A disco started on Satuday and didn't finish until 2.15 Sunday morning I can't remember the last time I danced so long and being up so late! A very enjoyable weekend.

This week should be a good start to the month as I am off work on holiday. the 1st 3 days are spendy days especially Wednesday when I am having a tooth extracted at the dentist:(

    :hello:

Hi all lovely NSD peeps xx

Third of October already  and I haven't even signed up yet :o, so here I am at last, I would like to sign up for 15 please and have already made a start with Saturday and today being NSD's so that's 2 so far :j.

I only managed 11 out of my 15 in September as I had lots that I had forgotten to account for as in car insurance and I took Lara to the vets for jabs and flea destructor!!! (poor thing has quite a few of the horrid things:() but seems a little less irritated now :).

I haven't been too organised with my shopping either for the last month, having added up what I've spent it is about the same as if I do a big monthly shop but haven't had time off to do that so have been getting in dribs and drabs so has affected the NSD front.

Good news :) I have an interview tomorrow morning but bad news is I'm on a late tonight so it will all feel a rush in the morning..really need to get out of here on time tonight........really need to get out of here full stop as it's getting worse :(. was a bit worried as it took them a long time to get back to me about the interview but I'm as ready as can be, money is a little less but it will be amazing just not coming into here every day and it's only a nine month contract but that gives me breathing space.

promise to get in more this month, I know I have been slacking :o

    ((((((((((hugs))))))))) to everyone

    :hello:

DFD Need to August 2027 :(
