Ah I see! Well, maybe we should budget for underfloor heating :rotfl: So that's another mystery explained :D

If the curtain isn't too heavy or if it's fleece, maybe you could get away with sticky velcro?

hmm, I don't think we'd be able to open/get in the door then unfortunately, as there is no room for manouvre at all. I hate my tiny hall. : (

What did you fix it to the door with if you don't mind me asking? It isn't a wooden door it's UPVC so I don't want to make holes in it.

mine is wood so I just used the eyehole screws you'd use for netting; that obviously wont work with your if its upvc, sorry
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

  • After saying my daughter didn't need shoes at least I had her feet measured on the off chance and her current shoes are half a size too small! She's never complained but I feel so guilty :(

But what a poor show, Clarks didn't have any in in her size so have had to buy some on ebay ... so through guilt (lol) I treat her to a new winter padded long coat from Asda, as her 2nd hand one is short, and some £4 bunny ears which she loves. Also a knitted dress and leggings so there's £60 spent today! :o

Been trying on her gloves and hats to see what fits and I treat myself to a £5 umbrella as I am sick of paying £1 and them just blowing unside out and snapping. I bold and underlined that cos I have never paid £5 for an umbrella before lol.

The sitting room temp as been at 20 today so theres been a 2-3 degree drop over night.

I love those knitted dresses with leggings, dd had a couple last winter. I found her some cable knit leggings in Asda, and some ribbed ones in matalan that seem soft and warm.

I'm cold tonight, got my fleece pjs on :D

You can buy sticky hooks for curtain wire poles.
Places like Dunelm Mill, C&H, Linens Direct if you have any of those locally, or probably most places that sell net curtains. They are often in a little pot somewhere behind the counter though so you may have to ask.

Like these. I've used them before with varying success. Some have stayed up for years, some fallen off after a few days/weeks/ months!

(Hope this is what you meant, as in a rush so not read back properly)

Theyre lovely arent they? I got her a nice lilac one. She got a lovely cat one and a stripy one last year, theyre good quality Asda I find. I sometimes begrudge the £6 on knitted leggings but they last well.

I'm cold too, have put the heating on so am doing washing as I can get stuff dried.
